Front service is useful when rear clearance is limited

A front-service design allows modules and, depending on the cabinet, other components to be reached from the viewing side. It is often considered for wall-mounted indoor displays and building facades where a rear maintenance corridor would consume space or be impossible to create.

The project still needs a safe removal method, suitable tools and enough working space in front of the screen. Front service does not remove the need for a maintenance plan.

Rear service can support direct component access

Rear-service cabinets are accessed from behind the display. This can be practical when the structure already includes a safe maintenance corridor and technicians need regular access without interrupting the public-facing side.

The required clearance, doors, walkways and fall protection must be coordinated with the supporting structure and local site rules.

Some systems support more than one approach

A product family may have front-service and rear-service versions, or a module arrangement that supports both under specific configurations. Confirm exactly which components can be reached from each side and whether the stated method applies to the selected pitch and cabinet.
