Start with the nearest normal viewer

A screen seen from a control desk, retail counter or meeting room has a different visual requirement from a screen seen across a road or sports field. Describe where the closest regular viewer will stand before narrowing the pitch.

The content matters too. Dense data, camera feeds and small type need a different discussion from large-format advertising or event graphics.

Check the whole screen plan

Pitch should be considered with the planned width and height, target resolution, viewing angle and content format. A technically fine pitch can still be the wrong project choice if it does not match the site or budget.
